It’s a beautiful, lively town with a lot to offer. Queenstown borders a lake and is surrounded by mountains. There are heaps of restaurants, live music every night of the week, and outdoor adventure opportunities galore. The economy is largely based on tourism.
Queenstown is an incredibly beautiful region that resides in the South Island of New Zealand, however most of its population is comprised of migrant workers. It is mostly dependent on holidaymakers and tourism agencies who provide adrenaline fuelled activities such as; skydiving and bungee jumps. There is a notable mountain range in the area called the ‘remarkables’ which invites a winter boom of avid skiers and snowboarders. Along with the remarkables there is also a field known as ‘coronet peak’.
