Springfield is the birthplace of basketball. This city is one of the most populated in the state. There is a lack of jobs and affordable housing. The crime rate is very high. With all these faults, it still my home. There can be fun things to do in the summer and winter.
Springfield is a small city, yes; however there is so much talent here. We are all connected in some way or another, and have nothing but love. It is the birthplace of basketball. We have so many historical landmarks too! That means it’s a great place for kids to see different parts of history.
Springfield, MA, is a diverse city with a wide range of cultural offerings. My favorite place to bring visitors is the quartet of museums, which display both world-renowned art and pieces of local history. If you visit in spring, the sculpture garden will be open and the fountain will be running—inspired by drawings from the book “Yertle The Turtle,” by Dr. Seuss, it is a charming and popular attraction.
