Bend, Oregon, is a spectacularly beautiful city; the streets are wide, clean, well paved, and relatively free of congestion. The diverse downtown offers anything and everything an intelligent and curious resident could possibly want, but the most enchanting feature is the Deschutes River, bisecting the town. Where else can you enjoy city life minutes from rafting, kayaking, fishing, and swimming, with hiking trails stretching for miles?
