The sunset is incredible due to the Sasol fumes and the effect they have on the atmosphere. It is indeed a very small and quiet town in which everybody is friendly. The food is great with many good places to eat, we are still a traditional group of people and still live life the old school way.
Secunda has a lot to offer. It’s a beautiful city full of opportunities whether you’re into business or just working a 9-5 Job. The city offers a lot of restaurants. We have a mine called Sasol mine that also has a lot of opportunities for our youth and also our graduates. It’s a good place to come live with your family. We also have beautiful school who aim for the best results for our children.
It’s a diverse place with multiple official languages spoken in the area, mainly IsiZulu dominating. It has malls around the community, which people can access easily by working and a larger mall. It has multiple companies around but we’re well known for having one of the biggest companies, Sasol which provides employment for most of the locals.
