When one moves to Winter Haven, they should expect heavy traffic, morning to night. Polk State is in the downtown with Legoland being towards the edge of town. Food rushes are also common with selections from McDonald’s to Olive Garden. However, the town has many great people and is a wonderful place.
As a future resident of Winter Haven, it is important to enjoy all of the natural lakes that the town is structured around. The area holds a natural beauty and small town, historic feel. As summer approaches, many happy souls take pleasure in meeting up on the lake, taking dogs for walks on the local trails, and communing at the historic downtown.
