Eket is a nice and peaceful town. The people are quite friendly to a stranger, and there’s no discrimination, despite your ethnicity, language or belief.

Criminality is at the lowest rate, although you still need to be conscious of your safety.

The roads are easily accessible, such that you can hardly get lost. Motorcycle is the major public means of transportation from 6:00am to 6:00pm, while tricycles and vehicles take over from 6:00pm till 6:00am…

Accommodation isn’t really an issue, as you can easily get one, and if you hope to lodge for a short period, there are lots of comfortable hotels and apartments that you can choose from. Hospitality business is top notch in the town.

You wouldn’t have to worry about your feeding, no matter your tribe, as there are lots of restaurants and eateries that will definitely suit your taste….

You’ll definitely enjoy your stay in Eket ☺️

The city has a cost of living, which is affordable to an average individual. There’s a beach for relaxation, where visitors would like. The culture of the region is rich and the people are very welcoming and accommodating to strangers. It’s a good place in a family and live a quiet life.
