Someone moving to Redwood City, CA should know three things. There is a great deal of traffic. Prepare to leave 15 minutes early for every appointment. Second, know the food is great. There are so many good restaurants downtown that it can be difficult to choose one. Third, it is a very pet-friendly town. There are wonderful dog parks and walking trails for walking with pets.

Long hailed for its ideal weather, Redwood City, CA, a city in the middle of Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area, has a high standard of living sure to delight anyone. Nature-lovers can enjoy soaring redwood trees lining the streets, and proximity to plenty of hills for hiking, and beachcombing, surfing, and the like, at any one of the beaches near the Pacific Ocean, a mere 30-minute drive away. Its newly updated downtown offers restaurants and bars of esteemed caliber for foodies, and I would be loathe to forget to mention how the city comes alive in summer with free music concerts and festivals and plays not only downtown, but at every park. a gem of the Peninsula, Redwood City has a population of around 84,000 as of 2018.
