Georgetown is a diverse city, as is the country Guyana. Filled with people of different ethnicity, religious beliefs and cultural practises. The city is quite populated but yet the alluring sights of famous yet symbolic monuments draw people to it, the amazing sights of the ra untouched nature captured in various open gardens and parks, allows its citizens to make a contact with mother nature.

Georgetown, where I reside, is a populous city and the business capital of Guyana. It is extremely busy with houses quite close to each other and parks, gardens, and restaurants. However, it has possibilities for those seeking employment, relaxation, or educational opportunities. Therefore, you should consider these factors if moving to this city.

It is the Garden City of the Caribbean. It is on the Atlantic Ocean coast at the mouth of the country’s river called Demerara River. Many buildings in the city are constructed of woods, which makes it different from other cities around the Caribbean. Georgetown is the chief commercial centre of Guyana.
