One comment on “Lydenburg”

Lydenburg is one of the historic towns of South Africa. The Voortrekkers ( first white settlers in South Africa) journeyed through the town and are the people who named the town as result of the struggles they encountered here. Hence, the name of the town means town means “Suffering”. Quite contrary, Lydenburg is not a town of suffering, for it is surrounded by chrome and platinum mines and a number of farms. This makes it a town rich in opportunities tourist attractions.
