Are residents of Osaka typically multilingual? What languages are most common? Here's what one local expert had to say about language in Osaka.
What are the most common languages spoken in Osaka?

If someone moves to Osaka, the person should know Osaka is quite a traditional Japanese city. Its culture and people are not very welcoming to foreigners. In the suburb area, lots of the elderly hold extreme nationalism and prejudice against non-native residents. As a result, my advice would be getting used to the language and social etiquette as much as you can before moving here.
