Ile ife is the cradle of Yoruba land. The king there is the chairman of all kings in Nigeria, especially the kings of Yoruba towns. About 70% of the parents are farmers and on weekends most children follow their parents to the farm or village to help them.

The road network is one of the best in all the major cities in the whole of the sub-region. Besides, it is home to major tourist attractions in the who country. For example, the popular Osun waterfall that attracted the largest tourists in West Africa in 2013 is in Ile-Ife. Finally, it is a place with natural ambience for relaxation.
