Griffin is a small city that has a deep-rooted history. The famous Doc Holliday was born in Griffin, and the city boasts about all the locations where he worked and lived. There are even celebrations annually that celebrate the life of Doc Holliday.

Griffin, GA, is a small town 30 minutes from downtown Atlanta. With a population of no more than 30,000, we have everything from the Griffin Historic District to the Old Medical College Historical Area. Griffin was Originally inhabited by the Creek Indians and incorporated as a city on December 28, 1843. Griffin was also the hometown to Doc Holliday, the Western Legend.
