If you enjoy living in a slow paced area, then Port Charlotte, may be the place for you. You should also know about the highly regarded education system (if you have or plan to have children), the cost of living, which is fairly decent, the nice weather, and the friendly people. You may also want to consider that there is no public transportation; though most stores and shops are fairly close by. It is also a great place if you prefer to live on the outskirts of a larger city, near beautiful beaches in the sunshine state. If this sounds like you; give Port Charlotte a shot.

Upon choosing to reside in Port Charlotte, the resident should be informed on the limited number of activities. It is not an enthusiastic town for children as it is the home to the elderly mostly. There is a mall that teenagers go to after school and Englewood Beach is about half an hour away. However, for adults, it is a very peaceful community. The crime rate is very low and it is a very beautiful town.
