Living in Żabbar, Malta:
Tips for Moving and Visiting

Zabbar is a very family oriented city. Although citizens residing here are kind and generous people, they find it hard to integrate with outsiders and foreigners. One also has to consider that there are only a few shops and takeaways in this city, making it rather dull. It is also quite densely populated, which would render it as quite annoying for someone who likes to have his own personal space.
The city, also known as Citta Hompesch, is one of the largest on the island with over 15,000 inhabitants. It is in the Southeastern region of the island and is quite close to some of he best swimming areas in Malta. The village feast is celebrated in September and for the whole of this month the streets are alive with parades and processions.
