Mostly agriculture and military. House prices increasing due to influx from California. If you’re moving here from San Diego, you’ll be disappointed with the Mexican food. It’s not the Baja style you’re accustomed to. It’s Sonoran style. Oh, and be ready for 120+ temps during summer.

Yuma is called the “Hell Hole” by the Marines that come here to train. It is very hot in summer. They like to visit the bars and grocery stores. At this time everyone has to wear a mask when they are in a public place. Some people like it here.

If you plan on moving to Yuma, Arizona, there a few things you should know. The first, Yuma has two seasons, hot and hotter. During winter the temperature averages in the sixties during the day, and can get in the thirties at night. Summer averages triple digits during the day and in the nineties at night. Also, Yuma is known for its agriculture, its major crop is lettuce.

Yuma is one of the hottest places on Earth. It is a beautiful and tightly knitted community where everyone is friendly and welcoming. Yuma is notorious and even famous for its lettuce and winter greens production. Many civilians from the county and even the south of the border come to Yuma just to work, which is an admirable and honest job. Yuma is beautiful in its own way, it is a desert abundant with love and welcoming people.
