Yorktown Heights is a tight-knit community that revolves around lacrosse. Lacrosse is what brings everyone together and creates a bond like no other. Not many commercial companies and chains operate but can be found nearby. My town thrives on the success of our lacrosse team.

Yorktown Heights is a relatively small town in the outer suburbs of New York City. While some of my friends refer to Yorktown Heights as a boring place, the town actually has a lot to offer a potential resident. I appreciate that Manhattan is reachable from our town via a short train ride and that there are plenty of hiking opportunities nearby. someone moving here should know it may be a boring place for some people, but that it can also be a delightful place with the right mindset.
