Someone moving to the city of York, Pennsylvania should know this area is surrounded by beautiful local farms. You can easily find local markets selling fresh fruits and vegetables, and some farms allow customers to pick their own produce themselves. In addition to produce, you can also find fresh animal products such as milk, cheese, and butter. The people of York and the surrounding counties are very proud of their farming communities.
