We have had no water in most of the town for most of the year 2023. Most rental houses here are not pet friendly. The most affordable houses are on the outskirts of town.

Someone considering moving to White River should know the city is 15 KM from Nelspruit, the capital of Mbombela Local Municipality in Mpumalanga province, South Africa. Kruger National Park is 10 KM away from White River and there are three primary schools in White River: two of which are public schools and one private school. The University of Mpumalanga is very close to White River, about 10 KM away.

There are few recreational facilities in my town. People should be prepared to travel to neighboring towns that have more exciting locations. This lack of excitement, however, comes with a blessing of serenity as it is a very quiet little town. Peacefulness is in fact one of its greatest attractions.

White River is a quaint town on the outskirts of the Kruger National Park and Nelspruit. Though small in size, White River has an impressive range of activities suited to every person. It is a fantastic place to bring your family as, along with the beauty of rural living, there are some of the best schools in South Africa found here.
