Many school options in the area plus grocery stores. Very much a suburban area with grocery shops, gyms, schools and plenty of homes.

The weather changes frequently and it does not have the most exciting nightlife, someone who frequents parties would find it droll. There is a beach nearby and plenty of greenery, it is definitely an excellent place for someone who is after fresh air. There many shopping centres within a 5-minute drive from most places, making it an ideal home for shoppers.

Westville is an upmarket suburb with rolling hills and dotted with parks for those who want to escape the hustle of the city. Halfway between the busy CBD of Durban and the buzz of Hillcrest, this is the perfect place to get away while still feeling close to the action of Durban. Although it is a bit more pricey than your average community, it has every amenity one could ask for, including some of the top schools in the province.
