West Jordan is a wonderful city because it has a lot of parks. This city has quarterly updates about its water quality, so I know that the drinking water is safe. I like how this city manages the public areas with weeding/gardening and street light fixtures. I also like that we see the “street cleaner” every few months to help our neighborhood roads look clean. We also have green waste containers for our lawn clippings, weeds, etc. and other nearby cities do not provide that for its residents.

West Jordan is a suburban town in Salt Lake County, Utah. It is about 15 miles from the state capital, Salt Lake City. West Jordan is home to Gardner Village, a historic village that has been turned into a shopping center full of boutiques and restaurants. The city is also home to the Viridian Event Center.

West Jordan is a very quaint city filled mostly with large neighborhoods. There are some opportunities for shopping so you don’t have to travel far. In the west, Jordan Landing is a large outdoor shopping center that offers everything from grocery to entertainment. Along Redwood Road there is many other businesses that offer a variety of services, like massage parlors. It is not too busy, and a prefect pace to settle down with family.

West Jordan is a very family oriented town and would be great for someone with smaller children. The town has many parks and open areas to walk and a very low crime rate. I suggest living on the west side of town if you’re looking for a more rural neighborhood.

When moving to a city like West Jordan, it is important to know while there are many busy areas with a lot of traffic, there are some areas that public transportation is not available to. These areas are usually further west in the city towards Magna. However, there is a lot of promise for new development in West Jordan and within the next few years, public transportation may be more accessible than ever before.

West Jordan is the best of both worlds. It is close enough to anything you could possibly want, but out of the way so you aren’t in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. West Jordan is a the fourth largest city in Utah with a population of 113,089 people.

West Jordan spreads pretty far from east to west, with two major roadways that travel north and south. There are two shopping centers but no malls. There are a lot of fast food places and several city train stations for easy accessibility. We also have a charming little village for shopping and eating nearby. There are two high schools and three middle schools, and numerous elementary schools to choose from. We have a diverse community that includes Hispanic, Caucasian, Indian, Asian, Islander, and Arabic cultures.
