Colorado Springs has many social services making it a good place to retire to. When it snows during winter walking can be dangerous because of the buildup of ice on the sidewalks and streets. They have a very nice library that provides free movie rentals and classes, such as learning to use the internet.

Decide if you can handle the lack of humidity. In addition to being a dry climate the winters and summers can be hard on those who dislike higher and lower temperatures, as it gets rather hot in the summer and cold in the winter. All in all, Colorado Springs has some amazing hiking trails and I recommend trying some of them out to anyone who enjoys nature and exercise.

One word come to mind when I think of Colorado Springs: beauty. The mountains are stunning. The weather is perfect. You will find the most beautiful hiking trails, campsites, and scenery. Colorado Springs immerses you into what feels like a dream. You will be captivated by the most beautiful state in America.

Colorado Springs has some of the worst hail storms out of anywhere in the country. Make sure to protect your windows and windshields! People moving here should also consider the climate, it is very dry with lots of snow as late as early May.

Colorado Springs is known for its glorious mountains, many military bases and the US Olympic and Paralympic Complex is located here as well. There is also the Cheyenne Mountain zoo and Royal Gorge, both are wonderful places to visit when in Colorado Springs. If you love snow and cold weather, you’ll love it!

The weather in Colorado Springs is constantly changing. Living here provides opportunities to experience every type of weather condition. A future inhabitant of this city should also know there are many people who live here, and that Colorado Springs is predicted to be more populated than Denver, CO, by 2050.

Colorado Springs is a very calm and mellow place. it Is relatively quiet and very small in some areas. Whichever part of town you live in you become very familiar with those people and see more than once a day. Colorado Springs is divided into three main parts, down south, up another, and fountain. Colorado Springs is very nice to vacation as it has lots of ski resorts and is perfect for people who love winter but also love hot sunny days.

it is an amazing place for outdoor enthusiasts. With mountains nearby for, skiing, sledding and tubing in winter to hiking and biking in summer, it is the place. Downtown has a multitude of choices for local cuisine and the brew pubs that have made Colorado Springs famous. People enjoy a laid back way of life in a city that feels like a small town. There are numerous neighborhoods to choose from: from the Old North End downtown full of sprawling Victorian mansions, to the University Village area with apartments close to the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and an exciting nightlife, to the suburbs of the eastern Powers area, there is somewhere for anyone who wants to live here to find their home. Boredom is a word that is not in our vocabulary in Colorado Springs, but family, friendship, home and excitement are the words that we live by.
