My city is surrounded by mountains and is a very hot city especially during summer. Also, it has the Christian Medical College and Hospital which is renowned in Asia. It acts as a road and rail transport hub between three states, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. People from the Northern and Eastern States of India come for treatment.

There are positives and negatives about the city. Positive things include excellent healthcare facilities and educational institutes. It was rated to have the best doctor to population ratio in the country. The Educational institutes are also well acclaimed and sought after by huge number of students. The cons include growing traffic problems and pollution.

Money matters are obviously major reasons to move to a new city. Moving to a new city will shake things up and open new opportunities for you. Following your dream is a great reason why you should move. There is nothing keeping you where you are; no meaningful relationships, no significant work commitments or career prospects. Rule of thumb- if you scratch your head for more than two seconds when somebody asks you why you live where you live, that’s a pretty good sign you should start packing.

Any person who wants to move to Vellore must understand that Vellore is the hottest city in the state during Summer and it’s the coldest city in the state during winter. I would advise you all to be prepared. There are many historical places in and around vellore.

Vellore has a big and beautiful fort to visit during weekends. People are kind and hardworking. Rentals are cheap comparing to Chennai. The city has some minor points also. It is one of the hotspots in Tamil Nadu. It has one river, Palar, which is dried up.

To be specific none has to be prepared to be moving here, since it accepts and welcomes people of any caste, or nationality. The only thing that people have to consider before moving here is that is kind of suburban city and thus things will be slow here and you can’t expect things to happen in a fast-paced manner here and there isn’t much of entertainment places to occupy yourself, but the ambience will be really good and soothing here and people are really friendly here.

The best place to party would be Katpadi. This a place were all bars and hookah parlors are, where the auto/bus stands are. Vellore is well known for the great CMC hospital.

The most important thing is the heat during summer which will peak to the degrees of 40+ in Celsius. The entertainment factors such as shopping malls, theme parks are very less when compared to all other major cities in this state. The food could sometimes be too spicy for non natives.

Vellore is a city in Tamil Nadu. Being the southern state of india, there is exquisite davidian culture followed by everyone. Many beautiful temples and serene open areas are seen in this place. No tall buildings cluttered in the town as seen in metropolitan cities. This land is known for eminent educational institute, Vellore Institute of Technology. Fishing is one of the major occupation of people in Vellore.
