Valencia is close enough to Los Angeles to allow a manageable daily commute into the city, yet it feels like a small community. A web of manicured running/biking trails connect different neighborhoods and provide access to the Santa Clara River basin. You can see the stars through the clear desert air and hear coyotes.
Los Angeles is widely known as a city with constant bumper-to-bumper traffic. In fact, rush hour in LA ofen lasts from before 6am to after 8pm in many parts of the city. Considering LA is one of the largest, most widely spread-out cities in the United States, owning a car in LA is essential.
