Una shares its border with Punjab. The terrain is semi-hilly with low hills. Una has been identified as a main industrial hub. Una is known to the Kila, a historical fort and an ancestral home of the descendants of first Sikh guru, Shri Guru Nanak. Una is at foothills of Himalaya. It has may holy temples.
