I would consider Uitenhage still pretty “old school” and safer than the larger cities like Port Elizabeth. A great place to raise kids!
Uitenhage is a small town in the Eastern Cape province. It is located 30 km outside of the metro called Port Elizabeth. Some of the activities that you can do in and around the town include but are not limited to hiking, visiting the Addo Elephant Park, and having picnics in the park. The VW factory as well as The Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Company can be found in this town as well.
My city is a beautiful place to create more great memories, whether you are alone or with your friends and family. You will meet great people but also be careful with the people you associate yourself with. Explore because we have great places for art such as poetry standbys and music street concerts.
People in my city are very friendly and are very welcoming towards anyone who visits. The city has the best business factories, including Volkswagen, Nissan, to name just a few. Every individual in my city is responsible to fight poverty, crime especially gender based violence against women and children. We have a rich and a diverse culture which includes different races. Every year we host a festival that aims to unites all different races and cultures to remind people where they come from.
When considering moving to my City, one should know we respect each and every individual. No one is considered superior than the other. We are all equal. It is everyone’s responsibility to fight Gender Based Violence, City crime, Robbery, and child violence. We promote Kids talent by doing Annual events that look to help the kids to be away from dangerous things, such as Crime and Abuse.
South Africa, Port Elizabeth is a friendly but windy city, Sometimes to cold for foreigners but enjoyable. Our city has a lot of beauty, Such as the sea, malls, sightseeing, bird watching. I would highly recommend anyone who want to relocate to Port Elizabeth to bring their winter and windy cloths.
Uitenhage is a small town in the Nelson Mandela Bay area. It is 30 to 40 minutes, by car, outside of the city of Port Elizabeth. Stores are limited in Uitenhage, but it is easy to travel to Port Elizabeth for any supplies not available in Uitenhage. Uitenhage is a close-knit community, as it is a small town; therefore most people in the town know each other.
