Tyler, Texas, is idyllic for those looking to raise a family. With its small town charms and larger city amenities, it is a perfect place to put down roots. Despite the ever growing list of entertainment and dining options, Tyler continues to exude the same friendly atmosphere it has always been known for.
Tyler, Texas, is known for its beautiful rose gardens, azalea trails, and yearly fall fair. The community grows yearly and has now established a new medical school and are currently building two more teaching hospitals. If you have an interest in living a large town/small city life, full of fun loving and generous people. This is the place!
Anyone moving to Tyler, Texas should know two key things. First, we have extremely hot summers here, so be prepared for the addition of shorts and tank-tops to your wardrobe. Secondly, Tyler has some of the nicest people you will come across in the state of Texas; it is almost impossible to make it through one day without a friendly interaction with a stranger.
Anyone moving here must know that this is a retirement town. Traffic is slower. The other drivers need a little more time at the stoplights. It is a lovely place to slow down and enjoy life. After having moved to Tyler from Dallas, I have learned that it is not so bad to move at a slower pace.
