Turlock is a city of only 70,000 people and is comparable to many of the surrounding cities, as it is a city that depends on agricultural products as a primary export. Turlock has a wonderful downtown area with a combination of artisanal shops and antique dealers. The people are friendly and courteous towards visitors. The city’s main shopping features culminate around the highway and holds many “big name” stores, such as Target and Forever 21. The shopping center also has many restaurants such as In N’ Out and Panda Express.
