Townsville is a city in Australia. Anyone considering to move here should know that it is in one of the best locations to access the Great Barrier Reef. Along with this, the overall scenic locations and wildlife are sure to impress any visitors they have.
Townsville is in Queensland. Although the temperatures most of the year is hotter than in the South of Australia, the climate has not impeded visitors from around the globe to visit and enjoy the unique sites. It is also the home of the great Reef Museum, which has recently renewed the appeal for visiting this beautiful city.
People who wish to move to Townsville need to be able to cope with living in the tropics. Summers here are extremely humid and temperatures can reach 44 degrees which is uncomfortable. Homes need to be air-conditioned if the occupant is to enjoy a restful nights sleep. Apart from the heat, Townsville is a lovely place. People are friendly, the shops are plentiful and the population is less than 500,000. There are many attractive holiday destinations around this North Queensland city that are well worth a visit, so come and stay.
