It’s a great venue for sports enthusiasts, especially for ice hockey, containing several hockey arenas. The people are friendly, but many are homeless. You’ll noticed plenty of unoccupied land. I feel it’s a safe place, and I never see anyone armed with weapons.

the seasons are very different here. The season of winter lasts for about six months and summer lasts for a month. The temperatures during both seasons reach extreme highs and lows. Within the city of Timmins, there is also a very bad opioid problem.
