Our city is famous for oranges and a traditional caps. It is 28 kilometers away from Peshawar. In Timergara the people speaks Pashto. It is the headquarter of Dir lower. It is called Timergara, after the name of a great warrior Timor. The people are very friendly and very hospitable. It is also the center of Dir upper, Chitral, Bajawar.
