Tuticorin is a beautiful city. It’s in the east coast of India and is known for the Tuticorin port where all the important sea route trades take place. Tuticorin has a hot and humid weather condition as its on the coast. You can explore different sweets out here which are unique and rare.

Tuticorin is also widely known as Muthunagar (Pearl City). The city was famous for pearl hunting from the sea. It is also famous for a sweet named macaroon which is made of butter, cashews, and egg. While eating that sweet it will be melting in our mouth. This was one of the city where salt is recovered from sea.

Life at Tuticorin will be too pleasant, the people, atmosphere and the scenery adds up to it. OLS feast is one of the major celebration which happens here. People participate in this festival regardless of their religion or caste. This is one of the festival which unites us all as one.
