There is nothing here. Nothing to see, or do. Cost of living is low, but that’s about it. Crime is not too bad.

If you are moving to Terre Haute, IN, you will need to know that this part of the USA, the Midwest, is an agriculture area of the country. Terre Haute has three universities/colleges in the area providing a great opportunity for local education and growth. It s a community of 60,000+ people with a small town feel.

Someone moving to Terre Haute, Indiana should immediately re-examine their life choices. It is a horrible city, with repugnant people and even more repugnant leadership. There is nothing to do here except smell the foul stench of whatever trash litters the street, and perhaps pass money to one of the many homeless people who panhandle at seemingly every corner. In short, no one should ever move here.

If you’re wanting to move to Terre Haute, one thing know is that the real estate here can be pretty cheap compared to larger cities. Make sure your car has excellent shock absorption due to the roads being bumpy and plagued with potholes. Be prepared for an overarching sense of boredom, as there isn’t much development in the entertainment sector.

The busiest side of town is centered around the college campus, and most businesses can be found on the main highway that passes through the city. Traffic can become backed up a little on that road, but it usually doesn’t get held up unless an accident occurred. For students looking for apartments, I recommend the companies with houses within a few blocks of the college campus.
