Know about some cultural issues such as taarof, which is a kind of saying what you don’t mean just to be polite. They should also know about the difference between rial and toman. The former is the official currency of Iran, and the latter is the everyday currency used by people. It is to be noted that every 10 rials is considered one toman.
Tehran is the capital of Iran. It’s a great city for development, but know there is a heavy traffic almost everywhere! It will take an hour or more to get somewhere. Another problem is air pollution. Almost every member of a family owns a car, so that’s why my city is polluted. On the other hand, there are a lot of good things in Tehran, such as big malls. You can find anything you want easily. You can also find jobs with higher salaries, compared to the other cities.
