traffic here gets worse during holiday season. This is because of the people coming home from other places. Another thing to consider in moving here is that floods are very common here. Every year, we experience 15 to 20 typhoons.

Tanjay City maintains a clean and green surrounding 24 hours, seven days a week. This was initiated by the current mayor, Hon. Rey Concepcion. Job order workers are stationed at different sites within the city, at different times of the day. These workers follow a moving schedule; thus, the city is able to be free from sidewalk trash and dead leaves whole day round.
