Tallassee possesses a small, close-knit, Christian community. There are many fast food restaurants within the city, but few fine dining establishments. Tallassee also has a decent sized library and a decent quality school system. Many churches are available, as are a Walmart, a local grocery store, a Dollar Tree, and more than one Dollar General.
