Expat from USA. Know how to ride a scooter. Learn how to relax and breathe. Get out and about. Lots of good food. Enjoy the wet market and the night market. Find a minute burger food stand or a good cheap burger. Have a Halo- Halo treat. Check out the Malls. Hang out at the 7-11 with the locals. Eat street food.

Tagum City is the capital of the province of Davao del Norte, which means that it also caters to the residents of nearby towns. The offices of the Provincial government are in the city, and that offers a certain level of convenience for the residents of Tagum City. The city is laid-back enough for people who are looking to get away from a fast-paced life of a big city, but also advanced enough for those who wish to experience the perks and features available to big cities.

Tagum city has subdivisions, it may be more costly than just buying a plot, but subdivisions have less squatter and is therefore more secure. Making squatters leave in Tagum city is a difficult one as you have to make them leave not the authorities, sometimes it is not worth the trouble to make them leave. especially if you are in a hurry to get a home.

Tagum City is not that big compared to others. What I like the most here is its peacefulness. Some people may not know but this city is the most peaceful place I’ve ever lived. Tagum City is at the province of Davao del Norte. It is also known as the city of palms. This city is improving year by year with the help of government officials leaded by Hon. Allan Lopez Rellon. Tagum City is one of the pride of Davao del Norte because this city have many tourist attractions.

To anyone considering of moving to this city, please take your time in admiring the views, the scenery and the people who inhabit it. Venues for activities such as the sports complex and several bars are available for your leisure, just make sure to always have a local guide so you won’t be cheated on.

Tagum City is very environmentally friendly. We have palm trees around the city that allows residents to walk around without having a direct contact to the sun. In terms of transportation, having to commute is not an issue because of the large number of tricycles that will send you to any destination outside and within the city.

We might not have taxis, but we have tricycles roaming around the streets with friendly drivers. Our place is secure and free from street gangster.
