Busy and bustling city by the harbour. In the eastern suburbs, you get some beachy vibes alongside high class living. The city’s architecture has its roots set deep in its European Victorian era aesthetics. The city is quite technologically advanced for its size. Out west is where the grind happens and where most of the service men and women whom serve this City’s infrastructure resides.

When moving to Sydney, Australia, remember to pack a swimsuit or two, a lot of sunscreen, hiking shoes, a warm and cozy jumper and a metal straw. You’ll thank me later.

Sydney is busy, great public transport, accessible via international flights. Great libraries, museums, art galleries, botanical gardens, opera house, all good.

If you moving to Sydney try and live in the city first so you can explore the city by foot, ebike or public transport, without the need for a car. Moving around Sydney by car is slow and tedious. Then move to a beach suburb like Manly. It’s like being in a resort town and only 20 minutes by spectacular ferry ride to the city.

Excellent work life balance. Beautiful harbour, beaches and forests. Great to raise a family. Great universities and career prospects. But very expensive real estate and rental market.

The cost of living is expensive and housing is among the most expensive in the world. Transport is excellent and anywhere near the sea is beautiful.

Sydney is built on a large natural harbor. It has fantastic natural beauty and is also a safe clean modern western city with all the attractions of a first class modern city. The weather is fantastic and lends itself to outdoor pursuits such as swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, kite boarding, sailing, canoeing, fishing, mountain biking, hiking and camping.

Sydney is a beautiful and multicultural city located on the East Coast of Australia. It is also the most populous and visited destination down under, welcoming thousands of tourists, international students and immigrants annually. The cost of living in this city is extremely high, which is justified by a minimum hourly wage of over $20 and excellent living standards. Foreigners should not worry about finding employment here as the majority of Australian companies practice the equal-opportunity policies. This means that as long as one is capable of doing the work on an exceptional standard, they will be highly regarded regardless of their race, gender or national origin.

When considering moving to Sydney, one should be aware of the cost of living. In recent years rental prices have skyrocketed and those earning minimum wage will be hard-pressed to find accommodation that suits their income. I suggest these people look for a suburb that isn’t in the city center and where there is also consistent public transport to suit their needs. In addition to this, investing in a bicycle is an option that could save someone up to $100 per week.

Sydney is a beautiful city known for it sparkling blue harbor and landmarks such as the Opera House and Sydney Harbor Bridge. People moving to Sydney should know the cost of housing is extremely expensive, particularly in suburbs close to the water. Sydney is very spread out and anyone moving here would need access to their own car, as public transport is not always very accessible. However the natural beauty of Sydney, and the moderate climate and laid back lifestyle make it a wonderful place.

Sydney is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, boasting major landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. However, there are downsides to this city, with living costs some of the most expensive in the world. Houses and groceries are the biggest costs, but salaries are higher than most countries. Sydney is an amazing city but, to ensure comfort, job security is key.

Sydney’s public transport system is hectically congested when getting to and from work during peak hours from 7-9am and 3-6pm on the weekdays. Try to avoid travelling via public transport with heavy luggage during those hours. Please keep in mind to leave adequate time for travel from place to place. Sydney, Australia, is ever evolving and there is often traffic due to road work and new building sites. Trains and busses are also a great way to get around but please don’t get me wrong, we have or fair share of delays with this too.

If someone were to consider moving to Sydney, I would urge that they do sufficient research. Especially if they plan on moving in the heart of the CBD. It is important to note the weather, the cost of living, and what area you are moving to. I will say that there are some beautiful sites to see. Some sites that I recommend include the Sydney Opera House, Royal Botanical Gardens, and the different parks in the surrounding area.

Anyone moving to Sydney should know being around courteous, kind Sydneysiders. Sydneysiders are happy all the time as they live near gorgeous beaches, great transport and fantastic weather most of the year. There is tasty food everywhere you can find. Also, well established, friendly bars sprawled across the city. Sydney is clean, friendly and beautiful.

Sydney is a well-developed city, offering a wealth of professional opportunities and recreational activities within the CBD. Less than a 30-minute drive to the east, incredible beaches and coastline make for a relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle. The one thing to consider if moving to Sydney is the unreliable public transport system; I recommend that those looking to relocate invest in a car.

Sydney holds many amazing opportunities for outdoor activities and living. Depending on the area of Sydney in which one chooses to live, these opportunities might include swimming and surfing at picturesque beaches, bushwalking in the unique Australian bush, and plenty of team sports. If moving to Sydney, however, one must be aware of the relatively high cost of living; house prices, and the costs of goods and services, are significantly higher than many other countries, especially countries in the surrounding Asia Pacific region.

Sydney never stops. The cars, traffic and exhaust are utterly terrible for anyone residing in the close vicinity so I would recommend, that when moving to Sydney, search for houses far from the city, and close to train stations, for maximum appeal and minimum discomfort.

When moving to Sydney, know property rent prices are commonly quoted on a per week basis. Newcomers are often caught out by this, as in their home countries they are accustomed to rents being quoted on per month basis. It is only when they arrive in Sydney, do they realize that housing is substantially more expensive than what they had anticipated.
