Anyone moving to Star, Idaho should know this quaint, charming little town is a dormitory city for the larger metropolis in the valley. Residents are friendly and down-to-earth unless there is a threat to the safety and well-being of the community. Most of the town’s residents are hard-working, middle-class families that enjoy the safe and laid-back environment of a small town.

Anyone moving to the city of Star should know it is a small, sleeper town outside the greater metropolitan area of Meridian. It may seem like you are far from a decent store or restaurant, but our residents are perfectly pleased with The Merc for general grocery needs and Dairy Queen for all our fast food cravings. After all, if you can’t appreciate a store where you can buy fishing bait and fresh produce, you probably really don’t belong here.
