Tips for Moving and Visiting

Spartanburg is a sister city to Greenville which is more populous and larger than its sibling. It’s far more laidback as well. Its focus has been on quality of life improvements to decrease pollution, streamline relief programs and create jobs with future prospects. It has a dozen schools and universities to this end.
Spartanburg is growing quickly. There has been a lot of new construction downtown in the “hub” city area. I’d advise moving close to the downtown sooner rather than later because property value is on the rise. Living in Spartanburg provides a great potential for future gain that other cities cannot give.
Spartanburg is an interesting place due to its unique dynamic. Even though there is a high level of poverty, the city provides a balance of blue collar places to visit and dine mixed in the same neighborhood of more expensive, bohemian-like venues. And the fine dining is separate entirely. Yet, people of all backgrounds and financial brackets can be found drinking and singing in the same bar.
