They need to always be aware of their surroundings and trust no one. Be able to share and help other people. They also need to be outdoor people because the city is famous for outdoor activities. They are different African cuisine that can be found at different parts of Soweto, one of the most loved cuisine is Kota and vetkoek. Many people but this everyday as breakfast. Soweto is the place to be.

My city has such a vibrant culture. There are different people, of different races and they speak different languages. The people here are warm as we all live and breathe the concept of ubuntu. We enjoy our food and the diversity we have in our country as a whole. It is an amazing place to be in.

Always be cautious because there are scammers everywhere. Don’t carry a lot of cash, it’s best to use a card for shopping. The less money you carry the better and always alert someone you know of your whereabouts.

Soweto has a variety of townships where people live. The most historical area in Soweto is Orlando West, where the late Nelson Mandela lived. His house in the area is now a museum and tourist attraction. Areas such as chiawelo have Venda and Tsonga speaking people, Zola has Zulu speaking people.
