While we are a large college town, there is not much to do. There are only a handful of hiking spots, only two dog parks, and our human parks are lacking. The cuisine isn’t anything special; we have mostly chain restaurants and barely any local ones.
Someone moving to South Bend should know there are numerous fun activities in the area. Whether it be going to the park, eating at an upscale restaurant, or attending a play at the Morris Center, there is an activity here for everyone.
South Bend is a small town, by most standards, but it is the largest in the area. With the neighboring city of Mishawaka nearby, the population of this area exceeds a quarter of a million. This means that there is a great deal to do here for entertainment. We have a 1920s era theater, several museums, and a multitude of universities in which to pursue higher learning. South Bend is a place full of wonder, considering how small it is.
