It’s quickly growing, but the roads are poorly planned out and cause traffic jams all the time. We have one of almost every fast food place, and the schools are okay.
Not only is Smyrna a suburb of Nashville, it is a true community with a wonderful school system, an award-winning parks system, and numerous community activities. Smyrna schools are a part of Rutherford County and offer some of the best educational opportunities you can find in Tennessee. The parks and recreation department and numerous parks and greenways in Smyrna has awarded the city with one of the top places to retire in the United States. Also, Smyrna offers countless community activities like a weekly farmers market, outdoor movie nights, and festivals in the city’s Depot District.
