Sherman is a small town about an hour north of Dallas. Many people commute to McKinney or Dallas for work. The main industries here are meatpacking plants. There is also a small private college here. Many people retire here to be close to Lake Texoma. Sherman is quite conservative and there are many churches.

Sherman is a small city 60 miles north of Dallas, Texas. It is a nice place to raise a family as we have a good school system that offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities. The best restaurant in town is arguably a burger place in town called MG’s. There is not much to do here, but the Dallas suburbs are only 30 minutes away.
