Sharon is quite an expensive town, although many move here for the impeccable school system. Sharon also has a lake, which is a great place to take the little ones during summer. Although Sharon has high taxes, it is one of the safest towns in Massachusetts. There aren’t many local businesses, but there is a nail salon.

Sharon is a small, quiet town, so one must recognize that it does not have an abundance of businesses. However, due to the great schools and lush natural environment, the property taxes are quite high. Safe and beautiful, it is a great place for families and elderly. The Massapoag Lake is one of Sharon’s most popular attractions, but beware—it is a breeding ground for snapping turtles.
