Shaftesbury is an idyllic rural market town, in North Dorset. Once busy with livestock and trade, the town is now driven by local commerce and tourism. The area is attractive to walkers, cyclists and those with an interest in history. On the site of a medieval Abbey, the town is rich in history, with convivial pubs and abundant coffee shops. Good local schools make this an attractive area for young families.
