Lumpia is one of the most popular foods from Semarang. Wingko Babat comes second. Lumpia looks like a spring roll but the filling is completely different. Its filled with bamboo roots but some restaurants also added chicken, shrimp or pork. It’s usually served with sticky sweet sauce, green chilli and chives. The most famous restaurant to get Lumpia in Semarang is the one in Gang Lombok.
