It is a small town with little ancient history. There is an old fort called The Banasar Bagh, which houses a small monument meant for the King’s leisure surrounded by a large garden. It is nowadays used by the general public for walks. The local market is divided based on the cities to which those roads lead to.

Sangrur has significant historical value. It was ruled by kings and princes a few centuries ago. It is also famous for its handicrafts. Most people in my city belong to families with agricultural background. The people are warm and friendly here with high regards for hospitality. I recommend visiting my city to everyone.
