Salisbury is a beautiful city, in the countryside. Its friendly atmosphere welcomes people from all walks of life and offers opportunities to both young and old. Famous for its towering cathedral and close to the famous Stonehenge, it is a city rich in history but it is also close enough to rolling hills and farmland to attract those that love rural life in a city setting.

My city has a cathedral with the tallest spire in the country. This cathedral also contains the oldest clock in the world. It is a small city with a vibrant and eclectic cultural mix where you can visit the theatre, cinema and old pubs and modern cocktail bars and dance venues. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and many sites of historical interest.

Should anyone wish to move to Salisbury, they should know the city contains extremely good rail and road links to London and the south-west of England. Salisbury Cathedral is among the most important pieces of architecture in the United Kingdom, and nearby one can find Stonehenge, which is a must-see site, as it is one of the most impressive pre-historic monuments on our planet.
