Ruskin is an ever changing town. Not too long ago, it was dirt roads with a single grocery store and only a select few neighbors. Recently, Ruskin has been growing rapidly. The farms have been swapped for subdivisions and many schools have been built. There are now four grocery stores within just a few miles from each other. Ruskin, originally know for it’s manatees and tomatoes, is now known for its marijuana plant and traffic.

Ruskin is within 40 minutes to all the popular beaches. Ruskin is also around 35 minutes from the famous Busch Gardens theme park and Zoo at Lowry Park. Ruskin is full of new suburbs and subdivisions. The homes are very new all the major big name stores but also full of local small businesses. It is quite peaceful and relaxing to sit in your backyard and feel like one is on the beach looking at the clear blue sky.
