Someone moving to Royal Oak should know there are plenty grocery stores, retail stores and restaurants within the area. The commute from your home to a local store is very accommodating. Several updates are consistently occurring in the city, such as building new roads, grocery stores, medical practices, etc.

Royal Oak is near Detroit and has many great restaurants, a zoo, and some of the best music venues in the area. The subdivisions are plush with big, beautiful trees and old houses. There are also plenty of small parks and everything is in the city is completely walkable.

Royal Oak is a great city to move to, if you are looking to raise a family in the suburbs. It has a great downtown with many little shops and restaurants. There are several schools, from elementary all the way up to community college. It’s a real great place to kick start a family life and settle down in your career.
